We are passionate about this work because we care about our shared human experience, and we believe that the global economy is presenting two stark realities.
First, export-driven industrialization that drove growth for many economies is less available for the rest of the world today. As populations explode but institutions and infrastructure struggle to keep up, many people are left choosing between urban misery and rural hopelessness.
Second, the rise of a knowledge economy is bringing a revolution in how economies function and production happens. This revolution in the actual methods of production is causing an increasingly wide development gap where many citizens lack access to knowledge and opportunity.
